Our Story
SentinelX Antivirus was born in 2024 from a simple frustration: why does India — with 265 million cyber attacks per year — rely on foreign companies for cyber protection?
Our founders, a group of security researchers and engineers from Chennai's thriving tech ecosystem, decided to build something different. An antivirus that understands Indian threats, speaks Indian languages, keeps data on Indian soil, and costs a fraction of foreign alternatives.
"Karuppu" means "black" in Tamil — representing the dark shield that guards against the unseen threats of the digital world. Our name carries the heritage of Tamil Nadu while symbolizing the invisible, powerful protection we provide.
