How Each Layer Works
Every file is hashed using SHA-256 and compared against our database of 500,000+ known malware signatures. This provides instant detection of known threats with near-zero false positives.
Our behavioral engine monitors what a program does, not just what it looks like. Suspicious patterns like bulk file encryption, registry hijacking, or unauthorized network connections trigger instant alerts.
Shannon entropy analysis measures the randomness of file content. Heavily packed or encrypted malware has unusually high entropy (>7.5) that distinguishes it from legitimate files.
